TACTICAL SOUND GARDEN [TSG] Toolkit Workhop with
Mark Shepard

Join Mark Shepard of Tactical Sound Garden and learn
how to "grow your own" virtual sound garden
in urban public space. This workshop will walk participants
through the steps for setting up and configuring a Sound
Garden for Baltimore. Topics to be covered include:
stumbling for WiFi access points and creating a location
database; working with the Placelab API (http://www.placelab.org)
for privacy-compliant location-based applications and
installing and configuring the TSG software platform.
Bring your Wifi enabled laptop or PDA to get started,
or just come to learn, share, and discuss. For more
